Rahul's pics

It seems so long since i had last written.. ( just checked and it turns out to be 11 days) That's not so bad afterall. Well, today turns out to be one of those days, that i spend with..me.. Thinking about nothing in particular.. just wandering aimlessly, writing crap (unless ofcourse you make some sense out of it ;) ) listening to some songs.. right now its "jiya dhadak dhadak" from the movie "kalyug". Its a nice one. I liked the song much better when Himani had sung it.

good song... hmm...I plan to change the look of my blog.. have been contemplating to add a chat box too. But not sure if its gonna be of much use. Will have to take Anjan's word for that.. she has it going.. sure she will have something to say. and hope to find a good template real soon..

Hey take a look at these pics.. Rahul sent me these. Photography.... thats his hobby. And must say, he does it Big time. I didnt think it would be good idea for me to use his pics.. but then, fortunately he says its fine.. so here it goes..










i liked these pics.. couldnt resist putting it up here. Infact i had once suggested him to change his career..
And amazingly, he agreed... the only difference is.. he said he would become an architect or maybe open up an icecream parlor near some college!! I stopped giving suggestions.

My budday :D

Had an awesome budday :D the celebration went on for two days ;) lots of cakes and icecreams.. had 5 icecreams in a day! that was cool .. litchie is an all time fav.. i liked this new one that i tried... Its called "banana split"... got that out of curiosity to chk how a banana flavoured icecream wud taste. The point is that it was not banana flavoured.. but, scoops of three diff flavoured ICs onto a layer of banana pieces..and surrounded by banana as well!!! goodness!! Nevertheless.. it was a good one. I wish I had taken a pic. Would have put it up here.. :-P

Oh by the way.. the most imp thing!! I got my cards back!! :D me soooooo happy!! some good samaritan had returned it at dad's office. My license had the address, so.. the good guy got it there. took away the cash, but the other stuff is intact. So that saved my day. Had the debit cards unlocked.. however, the credit cards are tooo much of mess..anyways.. forget that. not everything in the world is so easy. hey chalo will get back in a short while. Mom not keepin well lately.. and i atleast should help her in the kitchen if not do it all myself..

Just realised how important those damned plastic cards have become.. to me atleast. I feel so paralysed without it! As though i am in open air.. with fresh breeze.. and yet cannot breathe!! :(

here is what happened to my credit cards..
After a long day.. Thought I deserve to go watch a movie.. Went with my cousin. So sweet of her, for she had agreed to come inspite of the blazing fever. Or rather I convinced her to take a "break" and forget the Fever ;) With not much time left, just grabbed all that we thought was necessary to go watch the movie.. (that included my cards, license, nssn card and other small stuff too). Had to hurrrryy and zoom our way thru the Hyderabad traffic on a Saturday evening. Man.. Its just amazing as to how the hyd road withstands the magnanimous number of vehicles whizzing their way on its back! Truly amazzzin.. I mean though there are a few bumps and dumps.. but.. lets just not think about that now. Hmm so coming back to the story.. Managed to reach right on time.. Movie is called.. EK AJNABEE.. my advice to all those who plan to watch the movie.. Don’t Bother! Its just not worth it. Actually, nothing less than a traumatic Experience. Here is when my cards come into picture. On our way back.. I handed my wallet to my cousin..and then forgot about it. Sadly.. Even my cousin happened to forget all about it! She couldn’t remember where she had left the wallet. All attempts to search turned futile. And now here I am.. Walletless.. licenceless. And to make matters worse.. I need to GO to the bank and APPLY for a fresh card! so that’s another cpl of days!!

But anyways.. the good thing is.. a friend of mine who calls himself “Horizon Distant” agreed to pay for all my expenses.. atleast for time being.. Loan he says.. :P And then there is Mitesh who is gonna pay for my budday party this time :D Thank God for such friends :D

Holidaying........

The last two days were grreat! Enjoyed the sick leave.. ;) Watched a movie, went to that pani puri wala across the street! I just love pani puri.. Esp those bandi walas.. It tastes sooo yumm .. maybe coz the guy soaks his not so clean hands into the not so pure pani (sure its not bisleri)... guess thats what makes up the masala. ;) And then... It was kanwals birthday yesterday. Haapy budday again gal ! :D She is one of my best friends.. who i met during college. Kanwal Preet or pyaar se Chottu. There are some other names too.. much as i want to tell the world.. but i have been warned.. :( Hmm.. so went to her place in eve.. The gal makes some ammmmmmazin cakes. Awesome! Wonder when i will learn to cook! well.. at present i can make good tea (elaichi/adrak/lemon/masala), coffee, maggi... and...umm.. rice (but no dal or sabzi to go wid it!), sandwiches, pizzas,.. ehh.. thinking.. mm.. quite edible pav bhaji too. yeah, thats the limit of my skills in kitchen as of now. However, i am postive, that there will be a few more additions to the list. With Anjan planning to start a blog on cooking..and other friends too who are learning the art of survival.. I am sure.. there are better days ahead.Ok.. guess i should get working now. Have to create some test scripts.. and then a UD too. Its 11 already and i havent so much as opened my mailbox. The First Step

My First blog!! Yippieeeeee!! Had been thinking to write since sooo long.. Am glad that the time has finally come! :D So here it goes...

(Thinking) Hmmm know what? now that i have got a chance... i donno what to write! Its strange how words can fail on you sometimes. Anyways, I bunked office today.. yoohooo! Took a leave after about five months. Guess i am workin too much. Am i working too much? You dont expect me to admit that... Do you? ;) hehe!
Well... had to inform the team lead that i wouldnt be coming.. the excuse was.. the very famous.. 'Not well.. ' So called him at around 9 30 am.. The Blessed guy was still asleep. I would have been half way through to office on a normal day this time. Hmm anyways.. so all he said was.. "Its ok.. I have no problems. But Vijay will feel bad." and i went like.. Vijay?? Who Vijay? Why will he Feel bad??? Are you sleep-talking?? And then he said.. " its his Birthday today.. You wish him ok.. " Man.. I'd called for a sick leave and here is a guy who is more bothered about someone else's birthday! it must have been an amazin day nevertheless.. For i had heard the guy say "I have no Problems"!!! Which is quite an achievement in itself. and second he was concered about someone! And third.. he didnt ask any questions!! Such a relief!! Well.. thats my team lead..
I dont believe this.. The guy managed to get some space in my very FIRST blog!!

Chalo got to go now.. Am at dad's offc. It seems its a Black Day today.. so not many customers.. just chatting and blogging away to glory. Will get back to post another one if i find nothing else to do. You ppl have a grreat day ahead.
